So after their swim at Beaver Lake, The puppies got a bath.  Since the Pink Poodle Parlor is now a nursery and my dog tub is pulled down,  the puppies had a bath in the kitchen sink.  It was a watery mess.  The pups did very well.  There was a little fuss when the tops of their heads got wet, but otherwise not bad at all.  Once done they were returned to their ‘playpen’ until they were all done.  The temp was 80 degrees but still a little cool for little puppies.  I set up dog beds out on the deck where the very tired puppies finally took a nap.

They slept for about two hours before Robyn and Bob showed up.  It was their big Photo Shoot Day!  As usual, Bob did a fantastic job.  He spread a sheet on the ground … ha ha ha…. that didn’t work!!! He was bombarded by killer puppy bees.  He tried to move the sheet  several times to escape the swarm. It was useless.  Queen bee, Nickel, joined in by sitting on the sheet in solidarity.

Bob gave up and moved on to stage two of the Shoot: puppy portraits.  Luckily this went without a hitch.  I can’t wait to see the pictures!! There were some beauties.  I wont have them for posting for a few days.  Bob was nice enough to let me look at them. I think he said that there were about 600 shots.  I want to pick out the best side shots for structural analysis.  We ended the evening with pizza and beer (OK… I’m the only one who drank the beer). Very exhausted puppies lay scattered across the deck.
