Robyn and Bob visited the other day.  Bob came to get some pictures of the puppies and I can’t wait to see what he got.  While he was here I entertained myself by photographing him photographing the puppies.  It was really fun to see how the puppies reacted.  In a nut shell, they thought Bob was a giant play toy but they just couldn’t figure out what that thing making the clicking sounds was.

Today, I spent the day packing and hauling boxes to a storage facility.  Puppies and doggies were on their own today.  Here are some clips taken between trips to Public Storage.  The Poos certainly know how to make the best of every moment!

The combo of the video and music just cracks me up…..

I laid the baby gate out so the puppies could have a new surface to figure out.  They didn’t even bat an eye the first time they ran over it.   This is about surface number 8 for the pups.  It make me smile to read the suggestions in puppy raising books, “Puppy’s Rule of 12.”  This means that by the time they’re 12 weeks old they should have experienced

Experienced 12 different surfaceExperienced 12 different locationsMet and played with 12 new people

Exposed to 12 different noises

These puppies have already been on 8 different surfaces, met over 20 people (including kids), a number of dogs (mostly family members) and been exposed to over a dozen sounds.  They’ve even been to 6 different places if you count the deck, yard, bedroom, garage, hallway and driveway.  Of course the real adventures are just around the corner!   Hopefully this week the puppies will go on their first field trip to meet Kitties… right Carol?  :^)
